These Terms & Conditions apply to all safari, trekking, day-tour, and Zanzibar packages booked with Afrikanischer Elefant Safaris. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
Bookings & deposits
A booking is confirmed once we receive the required deposit and issue written confirmation. Remaining balances are due by the date stated on your invoice. Prices are quoted in the currency shown on your quote and may change if suppliers adjust rates before payment is completed.
Cancellations & refunds
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Deposit and final-balance refund terms depend on how close the cancellation is to departure and on supplier policies.
- No-shows or unused services are generally non-refundable.
Travel documents & health
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance (strongly recommended). We provide general travel guidance but cannot guarantee entry requirements for every nationality.
Itinerary changes
Wildlife movement, weather, park regulations, or safety needs may require changes to routes or lodges. We will always aim for an equivalent experience and will communicate alternatives as early as possible.
Liability
Adventure travel involves inherent risks. While we operate with trained crews and established safety procedures, Afrikanischer Elefant Safaris is not liable for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure, airline delays, or actions of independent third parties.
Acceptance
Confirming a booking means you accept these terms on behalf of all travellers named on the booking. For questions, contact our team before you pay your deposit.
